One of them, is the Progrezo Records upcoming release in Vinyl format entitle ANTHONY PAPPA ‘OUTBACK’ THE REMIXES, edited under Limited edition Series PGZLE015.
The fifteenth instalment in Progrezo’s release Limited Edition catalogue comes from Australian big name Anthony Pappa.
“Outback” The Remixes, have been produced by renowned artists Pole Folder & LowTrack from Belgium, Lank from Hungary, Bs As Deep from Argentina, Harnessnoise from United Kingdom and GMK & Daniel Arenas from Colombia/Spain, becoming this release an ACE under the sleeve for a wide variety of listeners and certainly thouse looking for fresh underground House, Minimal Tech and Progressive stuff.
The release drives from Deep House and Tech beats, Funky Bass lines, Percussive Rhythms and Ethnic Instruments, to Progressive Melodies and mental atmospheres; the new age of Progressive sounds, hallmark and quality that characterize those producers in the actual industry.
First on the remix we are proud to have the fresh production of POLE FOLDER & LowTrack. The Brussels’ renowned artist Pole Folder, has been very prolific in the past 5 years with key releases and productions on labels such as Bedrock, Mashtronic, Audiotherapy, Proton, Progrezo and Frisky among others. Pole Folder along with his studio-partner LowTrack, have produced here an intelligent brand of Progressive House Avant-Garde stuff to the Progrezo Records family. They have created a new kind of “Progressive Sound Anthemâ€, very modern, classy and subtle interpretation that fuses live keyboards, minimal textures, ethnic instruments and a firm focus on whole melodies! As an special production, it is highly recommended in the peak time of every late night set.
Next down, we have drafted in the mighty LANK who ups the ante considerably and delivers a subtle, energetic, intelligent rework aimed straight at the dance floor. He decided to go ahead with a brilliant mix, quite different from the original elements, but really effective as result, built on a great groovy rhythm with subtle percussions and funky-sexy bass line, which have been brand of high quality in his releases on labels such as Boz Boz, Strictly and Progrezo. His mix bring us full tension between percussive rhythm, funky bass line and hypnotic sintes, for sure catalogued by one of most memorable starting drops! As can be expected, the production here is flawless and Lank crafts a funky attitude and powerful mix that is destined to ignite many a dance floor the world over!
The next stuff in the package, is a peak-time progressive tune, produced by one of most wanted talents from Argentina BS AS DEEP, who has been recently signed by labels such as Audiotherapy, Baroque and Fade among others, been now the time for the Progrezo Records family. Bs As deep concentrates his mix on the original melody, built on it a peak-time tension between rhythm, hypnotic sintes and a strong bass line that definitely show up the energy of his recent productions, Kicking off the dance floors all over the world! For sure, this track will be included in all thouse progressive peak-time sets.
The next guest in this package is a duo from Colombia/Spain GMK & Daniel Arenas, who have been involved with electronic music since more than 8 years ago, on labels such as Media Records, ZYX, BXR and recently signed by Anthony Pappa’s record label Red Light District. The boys structures their mix here, using some original elements on their tech rhythm, adding minimal textures and percussion on it, driving to the main melody, that as results they have produced a quite loud-sound for PA sound systems.
Last but definitely not least, Harnessnoise boys from United Kingdom, rounds off the package with a great deep-tech progressive mix, version which concentrates on the melody potential of the original. Using the melody lines, some elements of the original and layering them over his stomping rhythm section, his mix struts and swaggers in all the right ways while sucking the listener right into its infectious groove. As a producer Harnessnoise needs almost no introduction, so with this mix one is guaranteed a versatile, expertly produced and functional interpretation of the original!
